ROUGH NIGHT AT THUNDERHILL SPEEDWAY

After not racing Friday night due to cold temperatures, John loaded up the Shaw car and traveled to Mayetta to see how his IMCA car stacked up against the rest.  In the heat race John started 8th or dead last and spun out in the first corner of the first lap.  He sat there and waited for the yellow flag, only to find out if you cause one yellow in the heat you head to the pits.  In the feature John started 24th.  About half way he was up to 15th and on a restart a bunch of cars piled up and John got spun around.  He had to restart the race tailback once again.  With only 3 laps to go John was up to 9th and a car spun in turn one.  John slowed to keep from hitting the car and was sent to the pits for being involved in two yellows. 

John will be racing at Humboldt Speedway on Friday, May 20th and back to Mayetta on Saturday.  Hope to see you there!!
